This is an event for the curious souls that are approaching relationships differently, with openness and curiosity for connection in all its forms. This is not the festival of alternative sex. We focus on creating a safe space to explore what connection, friendship, intimacy, and love means to you—free from expectations or judgment.

This is a transformative journey and a space to shed what no longer serves you in order to step into a more expansive version of yourself. For some, being at FAR is the challenge needed to finally connect with your authentic self. There will be laughter, there may be tears, but through it all, you’ll be supported by our community and equipped with tools to hold yourself through the experience.

Get ready to immerse yourself in an incredible weekend of workshops focused on alternative relationships. These workshops are led by talented facilitators from our community. One space focuses on immersive sensory experiences, while the other ignites your mind with educational talks and panel discussions.

EXPLORE

Consent is a core principle at FAR, woven throughout the entire festival experience. Our Connection Spaces are designed to explore the full spectrum of intimacy. With one space offering slower, tantric-style guided experiences, and the other allowing you to explore your own desires at your own pace.

EMBRACE

Although FAR is a private event, we embrace and welcome all gender identities, relationship configurations, ages and sexualities. If you come with an open heart and a shared desire to connect and uphold our community's values, you'll fit right in.

CELEBRATE

We shine a spotlight on the incredible members of our community and showcasing their unique talents across the festival. Expect performances from fire dancing to drumming and singing. Inspired by Burning Man’s principle of gifting, everyone is invited to contribute to the magic of the festival.

UNWIND

We invite you to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature during your time at FAR. We are deeply privileged to gather on the land of the Darkinjung People, the traditional custodians of this sacred space. Every decision we make is grounded in a commitment to honour and respect the land that holds us.

The last FAR was be held on the weekend of 13-16th November, 2025.
FAR was nestled on a beautiful private property in Wisemans Ferry, Central Coast, just 1.5 hours from Sydney.
The property boasts wide open space, sheltering trees and a surrounding creek with fresh water access.
